All International Club Angling Activities shall be under the jurisdiction of the Miami Beach Rod and Reel Club's Angling Committee as appointed and approved by the Rod and Reel Club. 1-2 This Committee will determine International Club Championships, interpret Angling Rules, settle angling disputed and disqualify any entries not in accord with the intent of the rules. Any protest pertaining to entries in the International Club's Yearly Angling Contest must be received by e-mail or regular mail within 14 days of the alleged infraction. 1-3 Miami Beach Rod and Reel Club International Club Members and Miami Beach Rod and Reel Club Regular and Associate Members, 18 years old or older are eligible to hold membership and enter fish in the International Club's Yearly Angling Contest. Miami Beach Rod and Reel Club Regular and Associate Members will automatically be eligible to fish in the International Club's Yearly Angling Contest. 1-4 Upon acceptance into the Rod and Reel Club's International Membership, the Angler may begin to make fishing entries towards the Yearly Angling Competition and his badge advancements after completing the open book angling rules quiz. All Members shall begin with a "Novice" Badge, (White Badge), except Regular and Associate Members of the Miami Beach Rod and Reel Club, who will begin with the Angling Badge Level that they currently have attained in the Rod and Reel Club. For advancement in Angling Badge Level, the Member must take and pass (to the satisfaction of the Angling Committee or it's representative) a prepared written examination showing the Member has acceptable understanding of the Angling Rules. Once a particular Badge Level has been reached the Member will retain that Badge Level for in perpetuity. The Club will asses a one time fee for each Badge Advancement of $10 US Dollars until the Member has attained the Club's highest Angling Badge.
Membership shall be divided into four Angling Classes: Novice ..(White Badge) Angler ...(Green Badge) Expert (Red Badge) Master (gold Badge) NOTE: Refer to Section IV for details of Badge Requirements. 1-6 The
Club receives invitations from time to time to enter teams in various
fishing tournaments in the Members fishing in an international tournament in the name of the Club are expected to abide by all tournament rules, to behave courteously towards participants and officials, and to conduct themselves with grace and dignity at all time. 1-7 Any changes in the rules will become effective only at the beginning of an angling year, subject to the approval of the angling committee.
